About Sasa

Sasa brings a diverse background across the insurance and broader commercial landscape. Over his career, he has served as a technologist, management consultant, Chief Operating Officer, and commercial business leader, most recently as Managing Director of the Carrier Solutions Group at Aon. At SRG, Sasa is focused on unlocking new channels, strengthening our data- and analytics-led approach, and supporting our people to deliver consistently excellent outcomes for clients and partners.

Career to date

Across a 30-year career, Sasa has worked in multiple industries, specialisms, and geographies, from small start-ups to some of the world’s largest enterprises. Insurance has been home since 2010, when he joined the leadership team at Hiscox USA as Head of Field. Since then, he has worked across nearly every aspect of the industry: retail and wholesale, capital/capacity, underwriting, broking, and MGA/U, with deep experience in key markets including US Wholesale and the London Market.

Culture

Life Outside of Work

Outside of work, Sasa is happiest spending time with his two boys, Stellan and Dejan—currently navigating the challenge of staying “cool” with the teenage crowd (a test of relevance in both business and life!). Fortunately, they share his adventurous streak, so adrenaline-fuelled activities are enjoyed together. Travel is another passion, with the family always seeking out new experiences and destinations. Sasa is also a keen mountaineer, cyclist and a budding triathlete, determined to keep age at bay. When time allows, he turns to books—an enduring love—with a reading appetite that spans a wide range of genres.
