About Joe

Joe is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of experience at Board Level, mostly in Private Equity backed businesses. First becoming a Finance Director at the age of 28 for a buy-and-build software group, Joe has worked in a variety of sectors including Technology, Professional Services, Business Services and more recently Insurance. Joe joined the SRG Board in January 2022 and has since been through a steep learning curve in all aspects of insurance and insurance broking.

As CFO he provides critical analysis and strategic insight to the Board. Joe is passionate about growing businesses and building highly professional teams. He has a strong track record in developing world-class finance functions, raising equity and debt-capital, leading M&A and delivering international expansion.

Career to date

Prior to joining SRG, Joe has worked in businesses that share the same high growth ambitions and people-centric strategies.

A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland, Joe began his career in Dublin with Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC), working in Corporate Finance in Dublin and in South Africa before going into the ‘real world’ as Finance Director and CFO for acquisitive businesses.
