The Role

This is an exciting position working within the commercial team.

A great opportunity for an experienced Account Advisor to develop their skills and broaden their knowledge as part of an expanding team. The focus of this role will be to service and administer new and existing clients across both manual and e-traded business.

Key Responsibilities

  • To Assist the CE/DE in the creation of a Marketing Presentation/submission and RFQ’s.
  • To manage and control the issuing of ‘Letters of Appointment or Authority’ to the required insurers and the collection of confirmation of agency transfers from said insurers within set deadlines.
    • To ensure a Broking Strategy, cover expectations and deadlines with the CE/DE are agreed and recorded on the system.
    • To carry out a full and comprehensive marketing of the Presentation/Submission to any & all (relevant) insurance companies.
    • To handle from cradle to grave the full collection and collation of all quotations and terms, and record them on the system.
    • To monitor and maximise Partner Placement usage across the Corporate team, whilst meeting TCF rules.
    • To create and provide the CE/DE with a draft ‘Summary of Proposed Insurances’ (SOPI) and/or New Business Report within expected deadlines.
    • To provide placement instructions to the successful insurers, once received.
    • To create and provide the CE/DE with a ‘Confirmation of Cover’ document within 24 hours of receipt of instruction.

About You

    • Provide support to the team and to be a referral point with any, and all, day-to-day market relationship issues.
    • Regular interaction with CE/DE community to troubleshoot/mediate any service or broking issues. Any negative market feedback to be reported to CE/DE and client service director.
    • To ensure ‘Treating Customers Fairly’ is adhered too with all market placement.
    • Regular interaction with Corporate Services Director to discuss performance and market trading items/issues.
    • Support, monitor and development the Broking Advisor role, weekly reviews with advisor on performance and monthly reporting and feedback to Corporate Services Director.
    • To promote a positive team environment and lead by example.
    • Maintain excellent standards of client service at all times.
    • Ensure SRIS Best Practice processes are adhered too and monitored.
    • Ensure maximum saturation of Acturis system usage and recording of marketing correspondence.
    • Strive to exceed any and all Premium Targets and Deadlines set.
    • Ensure correct commission level debiting of new client’s onboarded.
    • To provide a full and detailed handover to the new service team CE/CM – BA to disengage once this has been completed (unless otherwise instructed).
