Specialist Risk Group expands UK taxi insurance offering

28 August 2024 – Specialist Risk Group (SRG) has announced the acquisition of the ongoing renewal rights of Morton Insurance Brokers, a leading specialist in private hire and taxi insurance across the UK since 1987.

This latest acquisition strengthens SRG’s retail pillar, Specialist Risk Insurance Solutions (SRIS), and enhances its offering in the UK taxi insurance market.

Based in London, Morton Insurance Brokers has established a strong reputation for providing insurance solutions to private hire and taxi businesses throughout the UK. Its expertise in this niche market perfectly complements SRG’s existing capabilities in the taxi sector, particularly through Cabsurance, SRIS’s specialist business focused on London Black Cab insurance.

The integration of Morton Insurance Brokers into SRIS will create a comprehensive and unrivalled proposition for taxi and private hire operators across the UK, offering them access to a wider range of insurance products and a more robust support system.
