This is a Group level role supporting the Group IT infrastructure and Service Desk. We are a small but effective team who pride ourselves in our customer-service and “can-do” attitude. We work closely together to share knowledge and skills to be the best we can be.
Specialist Risk Group (SRG) have embarked on an exciting period of strategic growth which means our user base is growing quickly. This role will support that growth across the group and transformation of IT infrastructure.
This role is based in London but travel to other offices across the UK will be required. Colleagues across the Group are currently following the groups SMART working strategy and will be responsible for the team management, operational support, project assignments and day to day running of the Service Desk.
This is a new position ideally suited to someone looking for their first role within IT who wants to build on a career in IT within financial services. We are looking for a dedicated and passionate person that really enjoys IT, computing and problem solving. This position is a 1st line position managing our Service Desk support, triaging of incidents, and helping people in the business solving issues.
Training, mentoring, and working under a senior member of staff to ensure you learn the support of systems, the business and team functions.
