The Role

To manage PI risks (both renewals and new) between our Producing Brokers and Insurers including all account handling functions

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to Intermediary queries and ensure all communications with agents, insurers and other business contacts are accurately recorded in writing
  • Manage own Renewal List and maintain the Team’s expected Retention Rate
  • Inform Intermediaries in writing of the policy cover, terms and conditions and claims requirements and reasonably ensure that the agent understands the effect of breach of conditions or requirements.
  • Handle any mid-term adjustments
  • Give instructions and relay any issues to Insurers or our Brokers
  • Maintain and develop relationships through the delivery of excellent service, technical knowledge and expertise
  • Accuracy of data input into systems to ensure information integrity
  • Compliance with regulations and procedures as laid down by our regulator, the FCA, by keeping up to date with any changes in the regulatory framework

About You

  • Strong communication skills and an ability to deal with complex situations calmly and constructively;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, including the London Market
  • A commercial pragmatic approach to problem-solving in a fast-pace environment;
  • A good understanding of both broking and underwriting businesses and delegated authorities;
  • Understanding of Lloyd’s and London Insurance Market and the nature of insurance business;
  • Experience in a compliance team within an insurance company, broker or a consultancy or a Regulator
  • Strong, demonstrable knowledge of legislation and regulation applicable to SRG;
  • Experience of using EXCEL, WORD and SMARTSHEETS.
