About the Role

We have an opportunity for an individual to join our insurance broking team exclusively working from home, arranging travel insurance for volunteers and associated insurances for charities and NGOs that work overseas.

Reflecting the niche nature of our customers we offer a range of insurance products including individual and group travel, personal accident, private medical, kidnap & ransom, as well as overseas liability, trustee liability and commercial property.

You will be joining a team focused on delivering excellent service to our clients with the opportunity to participate in a quarterly incentive plan.

About You

  • Previous telephone based insurance sales experience at an insurance broker
  • Excellent communication skills with a confident and professional telephone manner
  • Computer literate
  • Good attention to detail
  • Experience of the Open GI insurance system would be an advantage but not essential

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling incoming calls and enquiries from new and existing customers, with a focus on travel insurance
  • Dealing with new business requests, preparing quotations, mid-term adjustments and renewal preparation for group travel insurance
  • Delivering excellent customer service to customers
  • Ensuring customer interactions are dealt with in a friendly, professional and timely manner
  • Management of client relationships across a range of products
