Role Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic, personable and friendly HR professional to join the People and Culture team. This People BP role will be dedicated support to revenue generating client groups and, will also play an integral role in the People and Culture team supporting group wide projects and People and Culture initiatives.

You will be someone who operates with a an ‘over and above’ approach and we be willing to give the business full, comprehensive and friendly support, focus and time.

You will enjoy working in a fast paced and evolving environment and will have the ability to confidently communicate and drive change. This is an opportunity for someone to dive into the business and present new ways People and Culture can help them grow the business and productivity.

Person Specification

  • Friendly, outgoing and likes to have fun whilst working hard!
  • Professional and proactive approach. Strong at building relationships, and ability to ‘dive in’.
  • Experience of having successfully worked in a generalist role within a fast paced and ambitious environment.
  • Willingness to commit long term to opportunity to build and develop HR career
  • Adaptable to change and can implement change and new initiatives well.
  • Ability to consider the commercial aspect and needs of the business, to deliver pragmatic solutions.
  • Ability to display and promote our core behaviours: kindness, positivity and thoughtfulness
  • Strong attention to detail and organisation skills.
  • Strong ability to report, understand and use data. Need for People BP to frequently run reports (from CIPHR) and present HR MI/data dashboards.
  • Confident with Microsoft Excel (lookup function, presenting data etc)

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and deliver HR solutions on areas including but not limited to:
  • Talent Acquisition (work with business to identify needs and agree appropriate recruitment and selection processes, assist on assessment and selection)
  • Performance Management (helping managers effectively measure, manage, and drive performance)
  • Talent Development (supporting SRG’s structured development programmes and career level framework and, identifying new solutions to support learning across the business)
  • Participate in and support People and Culture projects and initiatives
  • Support in the delivery of other ad‐hoc tasks as required.
