Specialist Risk Group appoints Global Regulatory, Risk and Compliance leader

London, UK – 14 November 2024 – Specialist Risk Group (SRG), the fast-growing specialist insurance intermediary, majority-owned by Warburg Pincus and Temasek, announces the appointment of Jaya Taylor as global leader for Group Regulatory affairs, Risk and Compliance reporting to CEO, Warren Downey.

A seasoned governance and compliance expert, Jaya joins the SRG team from her role as Global Compliance Officer at Allianz Global Corporate and Specialty SE. She is a qualified lawyer with wide ranging multi-jurisdictional insurance and management experience relevant to SRG’s growth plans.

Warren Downey said, “We are delighted to have attracted someone of Jaya’s calibre, professional expertise and experience. As we embark on our international expansion, having senior executives responsible for key functions with deep and relevant cross-border experience will be key.”

Jaya joins at the conclusion of her contractual obligations to her current employer.
