Business Operations Assistant

The Company

MX Underwriting is an established Managing General Agent operating predominantly in the Real Estate, Renewables and Transactional markets. In the UK, MX is a market leader and innovator, being the first capacity provider to offer a solution to Rights of Light risks along with several other unique products that have been replicated in the market.

As part of the Business Operations Team, this role will support the MX Risk Solutions Underwriting and Claims function to ensure the smooth running of the MXRS department, providing technical and administrative support.

Key responsibilities

• Client onboarding and relationship management;
• Administration of the run-off of a product.
• Managing new claims files;
• Data analysis, working with the SRG Data Analytics team;
• Process audits on the underwriting files;
• Preparing management information reports;
• Updating and reporting on the pipeline against budget forecast;
• Partner with Underwriters to gather intelligence from key accounts and manage the Customer relationship management system;
• General administration support such as invoicing, maintaining the Document Library, etc.

About the Candidate

• Proactive and diligent, with the ability to work on individual projects while managing team and stakeholder expectations.
• Confident in building relationships and rapport with others – Good team player.
• Proficiency in Excel and confidence in organising and presenting data is essential.
• Calm, considerate and respectful.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Eye for detail and accuracy in data.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
