About the Role

The role acts as an integral link between the Business Units and Risk & Compliance for the process of on-boarding third parties (insurers and intermediaries), maintaining systems of record, regulatory alerts and updates, corresponding with other groups in the market, and the implementation of TOBAs. This is a new role to support the recent and upcoming strategic growth of the business.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Working with the Risk & Compliance team to manage and track the intermediary and on-boarding process.
  • Ensure the timely completion of insurer applications.
  • Own the maintenance of relevant systems, processes and records that allow the group to manage due diligence and agency risks in the insurance distribution chain.
  • Review notifications within REG daily and, based on the required flagging thresholds set by the business, ensure that these notifications are forwarded to the correct parties to allow them to make informed decisions.
  • Work with Risk and Compliance team to help ensure that all insurer TOBAs are signed and recorded centrally and that the register is kept up to date.
  • Support Operations Manager and Operations Director as directed in the delivery of day-to-day SRG activities and longer-term or ad-hoc projects and tasks.
  • Provide support for integration projects as required by Operations Manager and Operations Director.
  • Work with the Agency Management co-ordinator, to support the provision of excellent service to our intermediaries and insurers by promptly responding to their enquiries, addressing their individual needs, including the issuance of applications where required, and maintaining relevant records.
  • Provide support to the Agency management Co-Ordinator in the management of minor TOBA amendments as required.
  • Assist the Agency Management team in the provision of information to the BRMs as required 
  • Provide other ad-hoc support to the Agency Management team as required.
