Location: Flexibility between Home and Witham Office
About the Role
This is a part-time role to support the Accounts Manager based in our Witham office, providing exceptional support to the team and clients by ensuring the smooth running of finance activity.
Key Responsibilities
Calculating money owed, including any interest or late fee, producing, and sending debit notes for payment.
Monitoring bank accounts for incoming payments from Brokers and allocating accordingly.
Reviewing statements from Insurers and making relevant payments.
Chasing brokers via phone and email for due and overdue premiums and submitting overdue payment statistics to the Accounts Manager.
Producing and issuing monthly statements to brokers
Countersigning bank account reconciliation
About you
You will have exceptional attention to detail and be passionate about delivering exceptional service.
You will be a confident written and verbal communicator with the ability to build relationships with colleagues and clients alike.
You will have experience working with Microsoft Excel and database systems and understand the importance of keeping documentation and systems up to date.
Experience in a similar role would be beneficial but isn’t essential.
The ability to think outside of the existing processes, and the confidence to provide suggestions of how to improve and streamline activities.
